Social Skills Groups - Summer 2025
Learn and practice social skills in a fun, kid-friendly group environment to grow in positive interactions with others.
Come have fun with us while working on valuable skills to help build confidence, regulate emotions, improve peer relationships, and gain communication skills through games, art, movement and group activities.

This group is for any child who may need to grow in developing positive social interactions. It could be that your child struggles to communicate well with others and needs help with self awareness. Maybe you notice that anger is an issue for your child and he tends to speak out hurtful words before thinking. Or like most parents, you may desire your child to be empathetic towards others, respectful of others needs, and responsible for himself. Many kids experience challenges in these areas, and this group is designed with these goals in mind. Childhood is a wonderful time to practice social skills with others in a group setting to help foster positive relationships. We were made for relationships - experiencing healthy relationships firsthand in a peer group is a great way to help build confidence for relationships. Don't worry, we won't be just sitting around and talking -- we will move, create, perform and discover together.
